For this portrait of boxer dog, Dusty (2018), I took several photos. In a photo, colouring can vary according to the light so taking a number of photos in different lights helps ensure that the colouring of the animal is true to life as is the case with this portrait of Dusty.

The eyes of an animal are really important so getting a good pose with a clear view of the eyes is crucial which is why this photo was chosen for the portrait, whilst other photos taken outdoors gave the accurate colouring.
